School activityThere are many reasons for people to explore the unknown. Mostly it is to find the limits of were mankind can go. Others our out of curiosity to find what they can that no one has discover yet. Scientists do things to help mankind. They also use their money on things to change the way people live. Scientists also try to push the limits on changing everything we know that is possible into something even more.
I believe that Dr. Jekll did go too far. It was ok to experiment for what he was doing. When his fellow Scientists and friends said not to temper with splitting humans nature he did not listen. He did not head there warning like he should have done in the beginning. Going too far is when Mr. Hyde started to go off and hurt people not as well as to kill someone with a cane. When you hurt others including yourself that is defiantly going too far.
From the small portion of small discoveries that I have found have not gone too far. It does not seem to have gone far at any point at all.
Macbeth PoemDark as day dark as night
The smell of blood in the air has filled the night
For Macbeth has won the battle and the traitor is gone
On the road three witches stand for they say good fortune is at hand
With joy and greed in his heart Macbeth hath think not
For he killed the beloved king in his sleep
And the once king’s children they do flee
Traitors’ they are seen and Macbeth is made king
Once again the three witches stand and to tell Macbeth
No man of women born shall harm Macbeth
Beware Macduff for they say and to fear
When Birnam Wood moves to Dunsinane Hill
Macbeth soon fears Banquo
For his children will be kings of kings
So to ease that pain Macbeth Shure does
Hires three murderers to kill Banquo
And so do the murderers do to Banquos death
And Fleance escapes from their grasp
Their death still does not end
For as soon as Macduff leaves
With Macbeths orders Macduff family is killed
News soon reaches Macduff
And sorrow fills his heart
As so does hatred
The Political side of Dr. SeussThe short film is about Yertle the turtle. Yertle the turtle was king of the pond and all that he could see. The turtles in the pond were happy and there was plenty to eat. Yertle was happy sitting on his throne until one day he decided his kingdom was small. He thought to himself the more that he saw the more he would rule. With one wave of his hand and one command more turtles came and stacked themselves on top of each other. The king Yertle the turtle liked what he saw, and declared that he ruled over all that he saw, but he wanted more. With another wave of the hand and one command despite how much pain a turtle named Mac was on the bottom of Yertle's throne. More turtles came and stacked up even higher as they were commanded. Yertle the turtle was happy because of what he saw. He saw a house, horse, donkey, berry bush, cat, birds, bees, butterflies, and trees. In Yertle's mind he ruled all that he saw. As the day drew close to an end the moon started to appear in the night sky. Ye
9/11/2001This was the day the twin towers fell and the loss of our loved ones.
When the planes hit it was a horrible sight to see the day turn to the black of night.
And the black of night it was, for the black clouds that grow upon the air.
It thundered with a grate loud crackle. There I stood and saw the sky fall upon us in midair.
Like a white sheet I tried to move, or run but I was stuck there like a statue in mid-day.
You could hear screams of terror and the weeping of others.
Since the giants had fallen the sorrow of others has swept the nation.
And till this day we thank those heroes who tried to save others.
Their heroic Bravery has cost them their lives so they could protect their beloved city.
Thanks for bringing our nations together as one.
9/11 and Guernica comparisonIn the early Spanish civil war, the Spain's leftist Republican government had appointed Picasso to paint a mural for the 1937 Paris International Exposition. Working in Paris, Picasso had read in the newspaper the horror of April 1937 about the German bombing of Guernica, a Basque town that had advanced with the Republicans against the General Francisco Franco's right-wing Nationalist forces. Guernica was far behind the battle lines, but Franco recognized the attack as a means of intimidating his foes in the region. The attack was later granted to be an experiment by the German Luftwaffe in a carpet bombing--air raids that targeted many civilians and the civilian root. More than 1,000 residents of Guernica were killed in the three-hour attack.
On a clear, late sunny summer day in September 2001, Al Qaeda terrorists aboard three stolen passenger planes and carried out a Planned suicide attacks against the World Trade Center in New York City and the Pentagon in Washington, D.C.,whi
My Artist BioAshley Grajeda was born on May 22, 1995, Manteca, California. She started creating pictures that will show you the way that you see others in a whole new way. It is to show everybody everyone else’s true personalities. She has had an interest in art since she was little girl but as much until she reached her freshman year. Ashley then became more interested by art because of the nature and people around her. As a teen she started drawling her own pictures than drawling anime. She decided to work on her own style of art work and try to make it better. Ashley was born in Manteca, CA and till this day she still lives there.
My Artist StatmentI love to draw because it lets me express myself. I can draw anything from realism to dream like pictures. As well as my anime characters. When I need to express myself and don’t know what to do then I just grab a piece of paper and a pencil and start drawling. There are many ways that you can do your art and that is what I love about it. Everything that you are feeling can be seen in pictures that you draw. I just started when I was old enough to hold a crayon in my hand. I started doing scribbles to shapes and to actual pictures. I used to draw everything that I saw no matter what it was. Then I became fascinated in mythical creatures and started to draw them. After that it became anime then now it is the dream like world that I love to draw now. When one of my art pieces are going well no matter what it is I am happy trying to finish my new art pieces. My favorite things about my work are seeing the pieces finished when I am done and type of media that I used on it. There is a
My art movementAnoism is a 20th century art movement that was founded by Ashley Grajeda, which brought a change to drawing “dream like creatures and people”. This is an art form that is basically combined by more than one already knows art forms such as; realism, surrealism, and anime that bring a dream like art form.
Surrealism is a 20th century movement of artists and writers (developing out of Dadaism) who used fantastic images and incongruous juxtapositions in order to represent unconscious thoughts and dreams. For anime it is a Japanese style of motion-picture animation, characterized by highly stylized, colorful art, futuristic settings, violence, and sexuality. Realism is a style of painting and sculpture developed about the mid-19th century in which figures and scenes are depicted as they are experienced or might be experienced in everyday life. So basically just put all of these art forms together and you get Anoism. It truly does give you a new prospective on dream like dr
